Our Mission:

As one of the most active Emergency Medical Services (9-1-1) in Sussex County, we run approximately 2,000 +/- emergency calls per year in Georgetown, Delaware, as well as, surrounding communities. We are staffed 24/7/365 with Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Medical Responders. In an effort to bring state of the art care to the Georgetown community, The American Legion has taken measures to ensure that we are operating at our fullest potential with well qualified staff and top notch equipment. Emergency Medical Services have shown a drastic change in quality patient care and technology over the past 10+ years. We are proud to serve our community and support Georgetown Fire Company, Inc.'s fire district with our fully staffed units. We are here to assist YOU in your time of need.
