The Phoenix Award ceremony is held annually to bring together cardiac arrest survivors and the 1st responders who played a part in the successful release from the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.

In 2024 there were 36 Pre-hospital CPR saves in Sussex County! Georgetown EMS crews participated in 3 of those succssful cases with crew members:

We would also like to recognize Quinn Baker, Robert Baker, Tre’ Battle and Kim Hall, along with All members of Georgetown Fire Company AND Georgetown Police Department for their efforts during those crucial minutes by providing many hands on tasks that aid in the positive outsides of the patients in our community!

What an honor it was to have one of our survivors join us on stage to receive recognition as well!
